The Official MIST Competitions Rulebook for 2019 is here!

If you’ve participated in MIST previously, you will notice the following important changes:

  • The Community Service competition has been changed to Humanitarian Service.

    • The competition has expanded to include a number of causes and countries to support. Please refer to the Rulebook for the new causes and countries.

  • The design of the debate ballots have changed.

  • Students are permitted to bring current event references to extemporaneous competitions.

  • Minor changes to other rules and ballots.

This is the official Muslim Interscholastic Tournament Rulebook for all competitions that are offered on a regional and national level. Top 4 competitors from each competition are qualified for Nationals [except Basketball. Only top 3 teams are qualified for nationals].
